Flaming Jewel Rug

The wish granting flaming jewel (Belak design) is translated here into a contemporary meditation mat. Almost 3'x3' square with an 100 knot per square inch count. This mat is handmade by a small Tibetan family concern in Nepal. It features Himalayan sheep wool, which will gradually acquire a subtle sheen. Color fast dyes are used. The colors are a dark cranberry abrash field with sage frog's feet on a brown border. About 33 inches by 36 inches meditation mat.
