No bleach is used in the fabric and ahimsa silk is produced after the silk moth has left it's cocoon. Any dyes used are natural dyes. Some slubs and imperfections are natural in such a garment and do not detract from its merit. The size is 80 inches long plus 3 inch fringes each end and is a wide 45 inches. This is perfect for meditation, wide enough to cover your back and was designed for such use. The texture is that of raw silk, with a subtle sheen and the hand of linen.
